echoes of chaos

This was quite a welcome view when I first flipped over to the front page this morning. A piece that screams anything but the utopia mentioned in the artist's name.

Shadows war with the clouded light of the sun in this slightly distorted view of what appears to be a worried city. While the focus on the buildings is immaculate, I do admit to having trouble making out the figures of the crowd in the foreground which makes me suggest lightening it ever so slightly. (It's a delicate process finding that perfect balance at times.)

The overall feel of this piece is indeed a warring type of chaos wrapped in an almost perfect package. The worn edges do well to convey the distopian mood and drama of the overall collection. It's quite easy to sense the polish and concentration laid into the photograph before submission of which I, for one am immensely grateful.

There is obvious reason why this graced today's front page, it's an ingenious approach to a tried and true distopian world. For that I give it my highest regards. Wonderful work.
