Critiques
I've only now been able to critique it. I'm new to this premium thing. Haha. Well, onto my opinion.
Firstly, I would like to say a bit about the colors.
The thing that stood out the most to me was the reddish orange on the right, and how it spread out onto the grass. I thought that was very nicely done, it may not seem like much, but in my opinion, it's the little things that really make a picture special. And how the dark blue of the left blends in with the left side of the grass, and into the red on the right.
Something else was the bright light behind the tree. I thought that made it look absolutely wonderful! And how the tree itself is also changing color for the lights on either side instead of being just a silhouette against the lights.
Something I would have done to give it a bit more of a real effect is add a shadow in front of the tree to show that the light is coming from behind. For me, I found that a little confusing. It still looks fantastic, and that's the only thing I could see that made it look a little off.
I believe that this is an amazing piece of art, and that it's nothing less than stunning. Wonderful job.
Vision: I gave vision 5 stars because I believe that over all, this piece is so nice to look at. Everything flows together and just seems to work, which is always something that pieces like this need to have.
Originality: Originality got 4 and a half, because there are many tree pictures around like this, but there are few that are this well done. I haven't gone around to find them all and see when they were made, so I can't be sure that this was the first made, but I can say this with complete certainty: I have definitely enjoyed this a little more than most I've seen.
Technique: I've never been 100% sure of what DA mean when they say Technique but I believe that whatever techniques utopic-man used, they would have been very good. Otherwise this wouldn't have become so very appealing, so I believe 5 stars is what it deserves.
Impact: The look of this piece is so well presented and the colors just go so well together that I think Image is definitely a 5 star.
Tree on Top of a Hill ideas are always so beautiful. Even if you've taken them quickly with a mobile phone camera, they have some beautiful aspects.
I can't stress enough how beautiful this image is and just how well the artist made it.
