The range of hues in this shot is really pleasing- you have captured the mysteriousness of the scene well. The green and blue compliment each other well.
The figure in the background makes the shot more interesting, in my opinion - it gives the viewer something to focus on, and really draws the eye to the center of the shot.
The only thing I can really think to critise is the very soft focus in the foreground. I feel as if the focus should be on the ground at the very front of the shot, rather than on the figure. This is mainly because the trees on either side on the figure are out of focus, yet the person is not.
The colours in this image are spectacular. You chose them well. They set a very eerie, ghost-like scene - much alike the 'myths' that are often told about the local woods. The perspective and angle creates a sort of mood, that perhaps you travelled down to the woods to check if such a myth of a strange man was true - and you spotted him, and now you're crouching, hiding. By darkening the flowers in the bottom left, you draw the eye to the flowers behind it - and the flowers closest to the camera blend in, creating the effect of long stems (to me, anyway) - and this is what created the crouching view effect. I like how the image gets misty and darker towards the back, and there against the light is the figure. I like the blend of turquoise and greens - the greens closer to us give of a more human feel, and by placing the turquoises towards the back of the image, gives the feeling of something inhuman. The only thing I felt was particularly weak about the image was the flowers in the foreground being so blurred. Simply because of the feeling I get, that I'm crouching, and focused on the figure in the background, I also feel that some of the foreground would be more in focus or sharper, but apart from that, this is a spectacular image.
