Im surprised you haven't got a DD on this yet. I must have looked at this picture a few hundred times by now and it still gives me the creep impact every time i look at it. I would stare at it for the longest time trying to figure out what made it creepy. I mean i figured it out by now but i still come back to this picture often for inspiration. I really dont know to much about photography, i have a photographer to take pictures for me, but i do know scary pictures. As far as horror pictures go, this has everything you could want and it amazingly blends together without going over the top. The strong lights in the background are essential in horror photos, it makes me feel like theres something over there. They go to shine on the street which looks like cobblestone which tells me that this is a foreign place which makes it all the more creepier. Im from America and we dont have streets like that here, so an unknown place is scary to me. The way the trees and the snow create the tunnel vision is perfect. And lastly, whoever it is in the picture has something on there head and i dont know what it is, so that creates a mysterious silhouette. Btw i dont wanna know what it is. I cant tell if shes coming towards me or away from me which creates mystery. This has always been one of my all time favorite pictures on deviantart, and i should have favorited it when i found it long ago, so i apologize for that. So thank you for sharing it with us, its truly a picture i will never forget.

Excellent shot with that perfect nightmarish 'film noire' ambiance. Viva monochrome!
