i did not get the nightmare until i went to full view.. very creepy. i love how at first glance at the picture i am lulled into a false tranquility as my eye is drawn in by the soft light and graceful copse of trees; but something startles me; a shape I did not see at first. i am pulled into this picture, i feel the trip of my heart as my mind grasps the malevolent intent in the lone figure following me in the quiet woods. the shape of the figure both blending in with the tree line and silhouetted by the late afternoon sun. i particularly like that the picture is done in warm tones, as it is all at once inviting and then quite the nightmare. very well concept-ed and executed.
